Johannes Itten was born in Südern-Linden, on 11 november 1888 en died in Zürich, on 27 mei 1967.In 1909 he enrolled at the École des Beaux-Arts in Geneva but was unimpressed with the educators there, and returned to Bern. A color wheel is a way to visualize how the primary colors and secondary colors blend together. Johannes Itten made a color wheel. In the middle of it, you see the primary colors. After the primary colors you see how to make secondary colors, and after that you see how to make colors like redish purple or bluish purple.
